This online scrapbook was created by Uncle David and is dedicated to Emily and Megan for them to share with their family and friends.
Emily and Megan have just finished their third annual summer vacation
in Dover Delaware. Although the four weeks spent in Dover were filled
with mostly rain Uncle David, Aunt Cheryl, and Cousin Amber still found
many activities to keep these two angels active.
Throughout this magnificent web site you will find countless stories,
pictures, and facts about the time Emily and Megan have spent away from
the Great Northern Woods this past summer.
Dover Delaware is the capital of the first state and home to Dover
Air Force Base which flies, maintains, and trains on its 36 assigned
Lockheed C-5 Galaxy aircraft, known as "the free world’s
largest airlifter.” Together the 436th and 512th Airlift Wings
and its aircrews fly the air fleet which comprises one-quarter of
the nation’s strategic airlift capability. The C-5 stretches
almost the length of a football field, and stands as high as a six-story
building. The cargo compartment is 121 feet long, 19 feet wide and
13 feet high.
