Liberty Science Center
Jersey City, NJ

Emily and Megan’s first Liberty Science Center adventure was to see a Tyrannosaurus rex named Sue, the largest most complete, and best-preserved T-rex ever unearthed. They discover fascinating facts about this massive 45-foot articulated skeletal cast of the T.rex and came face to face with Sue’s massive skull and 12-inch teeth.

We got to experience the thrill of watching Jane Goodall’s “Wild Chimpanzees” in the country's largest IMAX Dome Theater. About five minutes into the movie we encountered total darkness until the emergency exit lights kicked on. Due to the lack of power in the building our adventure was cut short. So we quickly exited the premises and began our journey back to the First State.

Blackout 03 !
Where were you when the lights went out?
It didn’t take long before the news came across the radio and we learned the magnitude of the blackout. To our surprise we were leading the pack of thousands out of New York City.
